Summary: Reverend H. B. Pratt, a Protestant missionary in Colombia, provides in this manual a detailed explanation of Protestant beliefs and religious cults, as well as Protestantism relations with the Catholic Church.
Historical Notes: Presbyterians were the first Protestants to establish a presence in Nueva Granada in 1856. The Catholic Church was fiercely opposed to the Protestant churches and the secularization of society, which in some cases led to violent conflict.
