Donor Notes: Dr. Gori, notable jurist, responds to taunts by the Cachaco accusing him of serving in 2 posts in the 1828-1830 Bolivarian dictatorship. It also publicly pardons the German, Carlos Wilthew, for having struck him in the capital's main plaza, with his cane (June 1833), whose release from prison is thus effected. - J.L.H.
