Physical Condition: No wrappers, but title and last pages are dirt-stained and some that are worn. Interior pages are fair.

Summary: Bolívar’s state government published its constitution as a member of the Confederación Granadina. The document reflects the organization the independent states adopted within a federalist system.
Historical Notes: The State of Bolívar is located on the Caribbean coast of Colombia parallel to the lower Magdalena River. The Department of Bolívar was established in 1886, and was reduced in size in 1910, 1951, and 1966 with the formation of the new states of Atlántico, Córdoba and Sucre. Davis, Robert 1993 Bolívar.
