Title: Rectus Ordo Divini Officii Recitandi
Publication Info: Quito : Salazar, & Ramos, 1786.

Summary: This booklet is a Roman calendar. Written in Latin, it provides information regarding the different months, such as ecclesiastical holidays and observations.
Historical Notes: This Roman calendar is an example of the developments of early print in Colombia prior to the nineteenth century. Published in 1786 in Quito by Salazar, & Ramos, it represents the development of early print following the expulsion of the Jesuits from the Spanish territories in 1773. After a little more than a decade passed after the Jesuit expulsion, new independent printing presses developed like this one and that published diverse materials relating to secular and ecclesiastical topics.
